Nine Trey boss and Tekashi 6ix9ine's ex-manager Shotti got 15 years in 2019 for racketeering after 6ix9ine notoriously testified against him.
Since then, Shotti has said mostly nice things about Tekashi, angering other Tr3ways.
Now we know why. He needs money.
This week he filed for legal aid, declaring he has less than $1200 in current assets and can't pay his lawyer.
“The petitioner’s [Shotti’s] case is complex and beyond any understanding he has of the law and its procedures,” the filing reads. “The petitioner desperately needs the help of legal counsel to properly prepare the issues and supporting facts and laws to support each issue that will be presented before this honorable court.”
Shotti is entitled to counsel under the Sixth Amendment.
