Brooklyn rapper Pop Smoke was shot and killed when Brooklyn rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine was locked up.

6ix9ine, who got out early for COVID and still has a couple of months of house arrest, brought his media buddy DJ Akademiks to his house yesterday where they had a boxing match and Instagram Live session.

During the Live, they discussed the late Smoke, who met his demise in Los Angeles in a murder that is still unsolved.

"I'm actually a fan of the kid,"6ix9ine said.. "Rest in peace, Pop Smoke. Listen, they shouldn't have done that. That was a great talent from New York City. And I think, to be honest with you, he was the fresh New York City."

When Pop was alive, he didn't have anything nice to say about 6ix9ine, subbing him shortly before his death

"IM REALLY REAL IN REAL LIFE," Pop typed on IG. “ION GOTTA PAINT MY HAIR RAINBOW COLORS OR TWIRL AROUND LIKE A BALLERINA.”

Do you think 6ix9ine is being sincere?
