Yesterday, Tekashi 6ix9ine announced he had fired his whole team and cancelled all of his shows.

Today, he explained why on The Breakfast Club. Jump to 13 minutes to hear him break it down.

“There’s so much money out here to be stolen,” he said. “I’m the hottest artist in America. My rate right now for shows in $100,000. Nothing under $100,000. So they’re like we got these 15 dates for you .  These dirty ass booking agents right, ‘Yo, we have $60,000 for this that and the third, right? I’m like, ‘Yo, why so low why's it 60K?’ ‘Listen Tekashi, we’re cleaning up your name right now. These venues are scared of you.’

“They’re like, ‘Yo, this kid is a loose cannon. He's a liability’ I don’t care. It’s not stopping my money because I still get booked. Live Nation has their venues. WMA has their venues ...  There’s other venues. You’re not going to stop me. I’m gonna get away with everything I wanna get away with ... So these dirty promoters, this is MTA Booking, they’re dirty. [They told me] ‘Most of the money is going to security and local police because they don’t want you there, so we have to pay for it.'”

6ix9ine added that he fired his team right after he found out that the booking agents who were claiming they could only give him 60K on 100K because of his security risk were actually charging the venues 180K. On top of that, he said that the booking agents gave the promotors his mom’s address so they could “go do something to his mother” if 6ix9ine didn’t show up to perform.

He also spoke on having trouble with his fellow Bloods.

Later in the interview, he said he fired "Tr3way," but was coy on exactly what or who Tr3way is.
