TDE's Top Dawg Excites Many By Giving A Release Date And Saying 'The Wait Is Ovah'

TDE's founder and CEO, Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith, just made a lot of people excited after announcing a release date.

"5/7//21 THE WAIT IS OVAH!!!!!! #TDE," wrote the Cali native on Instagram.

Of course, Kendrick Lamar is due for a new album since his Damn LP dropped four years ago. Plus, in February, TDE announced a new group that includes TDE president Punch, battle rapper Daylyt, and the highly skilled South Carolina rapper Nick Grant. 

SZA could also be releasing her new album on May 7 or another possibility, one that people would really lose it over, is Black Hippy dropping at that time — the supergroup that consists of Kendrick, Jay Rock, Ab-Soul and ScHoolboy Q.
