As previously reported, Saweetie's new EP The Single Life suffered extremely low sales, only doing 2,000 SPS in its first week.
The numbers were released right after she claimed that women run rap because male rapper's spew too much violent content.
Some people, like rapper Jdot Breezy, called out Saweetie for her comments and said female rappers rhyme too much about getting with men for their money.
TDE artist Reason had something to say about Saweetie's low EP sales as well and chalked it up to a lack of artist development.
The saweetie album sales is funny etc but it’s also (in my humble opinion) a representation in the lack of artist development. Saweetie is a star, she’s proven that! But you still have to develop artist and help them make better records. I’d love to write with saweetie

Does Reason have a point?
