J. Cole apologizing for dissing Kendrick Lamar on his song "7 Minute Drill" is still all the talk in Hip Hop.
The Dreamville rapper has been getting trashed online for it but still, a lot of people defended him.
One of those folks is Punch Henderson, the president of Kendrick's former label TDE, saying he salutes Cole for apologizing.
Cole is a very genuine guy. I respect it. We often give in to external pressures and outside influences and act out of our own character. It’s rare to have enough heart to make the correction. It didn’t align with HIM so he fixed it in the same manner he engaged. Salute 🙏🏽

Someone later responded and said at 39, Cole is too old to be pressured by others.
