TDE Singer Sir Gets Heated At Charlamagne Tha God Over His Name

The TDE artist Sir dropped by The Breakfast Club recently and had a pretty awkward exchange with Charlamagne Tha God. 

It looked like Sir thought that Charlamagne was making fun of his name, so he quickly got serious with him.

"Sir Darryl sounds like a n***a from the hood trying to sound fancy," said Charlamagne. 

"Well, let me tell you this," said the singer. "My grandmother named me that name. That's like some family sh*t. Sir Darryl is the name that you gonna call me then. Let's start there. That name means you gotta respect me. You can say it with a joke all you want but at the end of the day it's my name."

Charlamagne seemed surprised that Sir got so offended.

"No need for hostility," said the radio host. "We met each other before."

"I guess last time I wasn't that n***a," Sir responded.
