A couple of days ago, a meme went around that showed a split image of 17-year old Tay-K, who's locked up on two Texas murder charges, and Dimitrios Pagourtzis, the 17-year-old who killed 10 people in a school shooting in Texas last week.
On that meme — which was shared by T.I. and others — it claimed Pagourtzis isn't facing the death penalty for the shootings because he's underage but Tay-K is for his crimes. This would be extremely unfair since they're both the same age.
It turns out that Tay isn't facing the death penalty either, according to a tweet sent by his manager Lil Prit.
yep.

Why do you think people latched on to that fake meme so quickly?
