Patrick Xavier Clark, the man accused of killing Takeoff, is a free man. At least for now.
TMZ says that he posted a $1 million bond on Wednesday, January 4, and left Texas' Harris County Jail. His bond was $2 million at first, but his legal team got it lowered after arguing that it was too high.
Besides surrendering his passport to the judge, Clark will be under house arrest and isn't allowed to communicate with individuals who are associated with the case such as J Prince and his family, and Takeoff's relatives.
Clark will also have to wear a GPS monitor and has to stay away from deadly weapons.
The authorities nabbed him in December and said he fired shots after an argument started in a Texas bowling alley. Takeoff was just 28 years old when he was killed and his family, friends, and fans are still reeling from the tragedy.
