Earlier this week, Tameka 'Tiny' Harris, wife of T.I., reality TV star and former Xscape signer, revealed on Instagram that she has changed her eye color.
She got the procedure, which improved her vision as well, in Africa because it is not legal in the United States. She defended her decision to permanently change her eyes from brown to what she is calling "ice grey" on Good Morning America.
"They go into the eye and they make a little slit," Harris explained of the procedure that uses a medical-grade silicone. "They take an implant and it's folded up. They open it [and] spread it over your eye.
Her vision was a bit fuzzy when she woke her up from the procedure, but once it settled she was thrilled with the results. "I looked into the mirror and I was like, 'They are amazing,'" she said. "I love them."
At first T.I. was skeptical of the surgery, but now her hubby "loves" her new eyes, according to Tiny.
The risks of the surgery include glaucoma, cataract and corneal problems, according tp Dr. James C. Tsai, president of New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai.
What do you think? Is Tiny's transformation worth the potential for future medical problems?
