T.I. Names His Best Producer Alive

T.I. hasn't done a lot of work with Dr. Dre over their long careers.

But he's seen enough to declare the good doctor the GOAT producer.

"Dr. Dre is the best living producer," Tip said during a recent live stream.

"Timbaland is right there with Dre. Kanye is right there, and then, I think Pharrell and then Swizz Beats," he continued. "We talking about record sales, artists they produce, hit records, the shift of the way music sounds in the culture ... to me Dre has had the most impact from the 80s up to now."

After hearing that, somebody in the room with Tip began arguing that Timbaland is the greatest producer because he dominated multiple genres. Here's how T.I. responded:

"[Dre] has done the [one] bracket so well that it moves out over into other brackets and dominates as well," T.I. explains.
