Tip was taken in at his hometown, Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson Airport, because another man named Clifford Harris had a warrant out on him from Baltimore, Maryland for violent behavior toward women.
Because it was an out-of-state warrant, T.I. was immediately taken to an extradition hearing. It took his lawyer a couple of hours to clear up what was going on.
T.I. has yet to comment on the incident.
