Swizz Beatz Tries To Drum Up Excitement For 'Verzuz's' Return

Verzuz was a big hit during the height of the pandemic when everyone had to stay inside.

But once COVID restrictions were relaxed and people were allowed to go out again, interest in it seemed to dwindle.

But that isn't stopping Swizz Beatz from trying to create excitement for Verzuz by letting people know it's coming back.

He did so by posting a clip of a Verzuz hoodie and suggesting that behind-the-scenes arrangements are now being made.

"2025 Loading," Swizz captioned the image.

Earlier this year, he and Timbaland announced they partnered with Elon Musk to bring the battle competition back after their deal with the video-sharing company Triller soured.
