While the hip-hop community mourns the death of DMX, his family and the city of New York are planning a memorial service for him.
Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano offered the Yonkers Raceway to hold X's memorial, but it wasn't large enough, so the family ended up choosing the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, which has a capacity of 19,000.
The memorial is scheduled for Saturday, April 24, and according to reports, Kanye West may be in attendance.
Page six is reporting that Swizz Beatz is asking Kanye to be part of DMX's service, but there is no clarity if that is to perform, speak or just attend.
If you remember, Kanye and DMX worked together a few times, one being the 2003 record "Dogs Out."
DMX also appeared at Kanye's Sunday Service in 2019, where he delivered a prayer.
