A man has been arrested in connection with XXXTentacion's murder, two days after the rapper was gunned down in South Florida.
The suspect's name is Dedrick D. Williams, and he was taken into custody on Wednesday (June 21). According to the New York Daily News, who confirmed the arrest with Broward County Sherriff's Office Robert Schakenberg, Williams has been charged with first-degree murder and probation violation for stealing a car and driving without a valid license.
The 22-year olds priors include cocaine possession, weapons possession, domestic violence, grand theft and aggravated assault with a firearm.
As of now, there is no indication he knew X.
XXXTentacion was killed in his car as he left a motorcycle dealership in Deerfield Beach, Florida Monday. Police believe the motivation for the killing was robbery.
