There's been a lot of justified skepticism over whether Teka$hi 69 was really robbed early Sunday morning.
The dude is a serious attention-whoring troll and he did have a new single, the Nicki Minaj featured "Fefe", to promote.
But the cops aren't doubting the robbery. Per TMZ:
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, investigators have successfully pulled surveillance video from a camera down the street from 6ix9ine's house. We're told the footage shows the suspects' vehicle outside the rapper's home, but it's too far away to identify who the men are.
There's so far no surveillance video that shows 69 jumping from his abductors' car after the robbery. But that heroic and improbable detail was in the story that 69's peeps leaked, not what 69 actually told the police.
We also have no evidence that almost 800K and money and jewelry was stolen, as Teka$hi's team initially suggested.
That figure could very well be a case of crime-victim stuntin'. (Which can easily turn into insurance fraud.)
