Supa Emcee Charged with Murdering His Wife

Detroit rapper Supa Emcee has been charged with the murder of his wife, Kelly Mays.

Supa, 46, stabbed Mays repeatedly with a knife in their Detroit home and then fled the scene.

Later that day, he turned himself in to the police.

When the cops arrived at the home, they found Mays dead of wounds to her neck and chest.

Mays' family reports that there had been a lot of domestic abuse in her 13-year-old relationship with Supa.

Supa is most famous for appearing in 8 Mile.  However, his scenes were deleted from the movie and can only be seen as extras on the DVD.

He was denied bond and will next be in court on January 25.
