Suge Knight's new lawyer is making some pretty explosive allegations about Dr. Dre and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
According to attorney Thaddeus Culpepper, sheriff's deputy Henry Boyd was working the door at 1OAK in 2014 when Suge Knight was shot six times during a Chris Brown album release party.
Culpepper says security footage from 1OAK shows Boyd allowing the gunman into the club. He claims sheriff's deputies had the gunman in custody after the shooting, but released him even though he admitted Dr. Dre had paid him $50,000 to take out Dre's friend-turned-foe Knight.
Culpepper also claims he has security footage from LAX airport which shows Boyd helping the unnamed shooter leave the country. Finally, Knight's lawyer says that Boyd was questioned about his role in Knight's shooting by the authorities, and then resigned from the police department.
Does this sound like something that actually may have happened, or is it a desperate attempt to save a very guilty client?
