He was homeless when he walked up to Rick Ross at Venice Beach and started spitting.
The clip went viral, because Muhammad’s got skills, and Ross reacted by signing him to MMG.
Muhammad dropped his first mixtape last month and everybody thought it was really good.
But something went wrong between Muhammad and Ross, and he's abruptly quit the game. He explained why in a series of Tweets. Although he begins by saying he quit because music is forbidden in Islam, he later explains he was angry because MMG disrespected him, and he may continue if someone buys him out of his contract.
I'm not making anymore music. This my one and only album.

If someone buys me out of my contract or they drop me from the label than I may continue, I'd need a very large contract like 4.5 million https://t.co/T9F0hHKXrI

— Isa Muhammad (@theonvoid) January 5, 2017
I don't want to be signed to MMG any more. They insulted me with how they treated me, given my performance.
