It's Tuesday, and Billboard still hasn't determined which album was number one on last week's chart.
The contenders are Travis Scott's rerelease of his 2014 mixtape Last Days Of Rodeo and Sabrina Carpenter's Short N Sweet album.
Both albums are sitting at around 350K, with HitsDailyDouble reporting Scott is ahead by less than 1K.
Here's where things get tricky.
Carpenter's album is crushing in streams—and why wouldn't it? Scott's has been available for ten years.
However, Scott, a master bundler, has jacked his pure sales with merch bundles and deeply discounted album downloads.
Questions surround the legitimacy of some of these tactics, and that's why Billboard has delayed its final verdict.
Update: The final results are in. Sabrina defeats Travis 362K to 361K.
