Stephen A. Smith Slams Diddy For Deleting Cassie Apology Video

by Daryl Nelson

The last time Diddy addressed the public was last month when he apologized for beating Cassie in that 2016 video.

But last week, he removed that clip and all of his other posts from Instagram, a move that Stephen A. Smith called foolish.

Stephen A. Smith goes off on Diddy for erasing his entire Instagram feed, including the Cassie apology video.

"If you had a million photos, if you had a million videos, and you decided to delete 999,999, that’s the one you should’ve kept up—if you’re sincere,"Smith screamed on his podcast. "And I know, that you’ve been taking a lot of hits, and there’s been shrapnels of criticism all over the place aimed in your direction. Not that it wasn’t deserved."

"Who are your PR people? Who are these people? Where is the advice?" he went on. "I'd have said never delete your account and never delete that video ... Leave that up forever, because that was you apologizing and owning up to your transgression. You deleting it from your account, that wasn't smart. It comes across as you wanting to erase everything as opposed to you wanting to be accountable for everything."

On another note, why do you think Diddy hasn't been arrested yet after the feds raided his homes a couple of months ago? Is the delay a sign that he might walk away from the sex trafficking accusation unscathed?
