Southside Says There Are Only Five Rappers Worthy Of His Beats

808 Mafia producer Southside is getting a little grumpy about the state of the game

The 32-year old jumped on social and declared that almost every rapper sucks.

"A lot of ya'll rappers ass its' like 5 people that I would send beats to rite now," he declares. "Ain't no excitement in this shit. And a lot of these producers maken water down 808 shit and signing they life away and they beats for nothing," he said.

Southside doesn't mention who the five are, but he's known for his work with G Herbo, Offset, 21 Savage, Future, Waka Flocka, and Gucci Mane.

So at least one of those artists doesn't make the cut.
