Yesterday, JAY-Z's attorney Alex Spiro held a press conference where he pushed back hard on the story of the woman who claimed Hov raped her at a Puffy party in 2000 when she was 13.
However, Spiro may have gone too far in his defense of Hov when he claimed that his client and The Diddler weren't friends.
"Mr. Carter has nothing to do with Mr. Combs' case or Mr. Combs," said Spiro. "They knew each other professionally for a number of years. At music awards, they support each other. They go to the NBA All-Star Game, they support each other. That’s just how professions work ... There is no closer association between any of them. That’s also a matter of fiction."
Twitter has uncovered some examples of Hov and Puff being quite friendly. Or, as Spiro argued, are these just examples of two successful rappers and moguls supporting each other professionally?

Jay Z's lawyer Alex Spiro in a frantic move to separate his client from his long time friend, Diddy, lies and states that:

"There is no friendship or longtime bond here. Just because they knew each other, know each other, that doesn't mean anything."
