Snoop Dogg Sings The Praise Of Iggy Azalea's 'Soul'

by HHL Editors

In turns out the only problem Snoop Dogg had with Iggy Azalea was the way she looks.

Speaking to the New York Times magazine, Snoop, who's promoting his new album Bush, had nothing but nice things to say about Iggy (and Macklemore) when the interviewer brought them up.

What about this suburban streak in hip-hop, like Iggy Azalea and Macklemore? Rap is supposed to grow. One thing about Iggy and Macklemore: They got soul. They’re inspired by hip-hop. I don’t care how you’re gonna take it to your people and flip it and dip it and serve it.
Iggy has been roundly criticized for her lack of authenticity.  So Snoop praising her for her "soul" cuts against the grain and gives her struggling career a nice co-sign.

T.I. must be one convincing fellow.
