Snoop Dogg believes he's getting a raw deal because of the color of his and his business partner's skin.
So he channeled Suge Knight's notorious 1995 speech at the Source Awards in calling out the system he thinks is mistreating him.
"Aye y'all, I'm finna put some words out about some punk-a$$ motherf*cking agents in the music industry that don't want to see a black man win as a booking agent. I'll be giving up names real soon and what company they with. You punk mfers. Don't wanna see a n*gga win because I connected with somebody that of a different ethnicity? Because I got a Mexican—a Latino working with me? It's black and brown and y'all don't wanna see that? F*ck y'all system. Any artist that's tired of being f*cked over by these punk motherfuck*rs, holler at Snoop Dogg and Uncle Snoop's Army and Bobby Dee ASAP.
Earlier this year, Snoop Dogg partnered with Bobby Dee (a Mexican) to form the entertainment company, Uncle Snoops Army. The entity has already put on live events, such as the Once Upon a Time in the LBC festival.
They also appear to be trying to make inroads as booking agents but have seemingly run into a wall.
