Snoop Dogg, who'll be playing with Dr. Dre, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, and Mary J. Blige at Super Bowl LVI's halftime show next month, recently called Sade his dream collaborator. But when he had a chance to meet the Love Deluxe legend he froze.
“[My friend] was like ‘Do you wanna go meet her?'” Snoop explained in a video shared by TMZ. “And I was like '[no].' I was nervous as a muthaf*cker. Like, nah. I was too nervous. Gonna act like that I’m cool with a heartbeat faster than a muthaf*cker. He was like, ‘Let’s go meet her.’ And I was like, ‘[no].' We gotta leave, there’s going to be a lot of cars trying to get out of here.'"
But Snoop hasn't given up hope on the collaboration, and he thinks something can still be arranged.
"Maybe Def Jam and Universal can hustle that," he stated. "I didn’t think it could happen. Watch out. We’ll put it in the air. Put a bat signal up saying, ‘You can call me.'”
What do you think a Snoop, Sade song would sound like?
