Snoop Dogg & Dr. Dre's 'Missionary' Album Lands On Several Billboard Top 10 Charts

by Daryl Nelson

There was plenty of talk on social media that Snoop Dogg's Missionary album would go unnoticed.

But it turns out, the LP, produced entirely by Dr. Dre, landed on a few Billboard top 10 charts.

It's number seven on Billboard's Top Album Sales chart, number seven on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, number three on Top Rap Albums, and number 20 on the Billboard 200.

If anything, 2024 has been a year that older rappers made a big splash in the music industry.

Eminem's The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce) album had a lot of success, and so did Common and Pete Rock's The Auditorium Vol. 1 since they were nominated for a couple of Grammys. Plus, LL Cool J's album The FORCE received a lot of praise.

Are you surprised that Snoop's album landed on so many top 10 charts?
