Snoop Dogg and Eminem are both Dr. Dre's children. But Snoop didn't cut his bro the family rate when he denied Shady top ten GOAT status.
"Eminem, the great white hope," Snoop said, when discussing Shady and Dre with Fat Joe. " White rappers had zero respect in rap. Let's keep that one-thou-wow. None. [Dre] has probably put Eminem in a position where he can be consided one of the top ten rappers ever -- I don't think so -- but the game feels like he's top ten lyricists. But that's just because he's with Dr. Dre and Dr. Dre helped him find the best Eminem he could find."
Snoop went on to say he couldn't put Em in his top ten because of great rappers from the 80s like Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, KRS-1, Ice Cube, and LL Cool J.
His comments got quite a bit of attention, and Snoop jumped on Instagram this afternoon and reminded everyone that even if he doesn't rate Em top 10, he's still gang gang.
