Sheek Louch addressed The Lox's long-running NYC beef with 50 Cent and G-Unit in an interview with Vlad TV.
"That G-Unit beef was really nothing to do with me and Styles. None of them n*ggas said our name at all. Not because they scared or nothing. Really, anyone who was on a song with Ja Rule, that's who 50 had a problem with," Sheek said, and brought up the Ja track 'New York," which Jadakiss featured. "But, us, given the type of n*ggas we are, were like 'yo, get the f*ck out of here.' Lyrically, who want it?"
Vlad then brought up 50 Cent's Jadakiss diss 'Window Shopping'.
"It was cool. But it wasn't battle rap ready," Sleek said, "From our world it didn't hit or hurt."
Then he explained why Lox keep coming at 50, anyway.
"A million times. And the reason we went so long with it was I thought that he would have. Lyrically, I knew that they didn't have nothing on us. To me, it was like Banks coulda. But he really stay out of that sh*t."
Louch added that things eventually calmed down between Lox and G-Unit when they all realized that there was more unity in other cities and those cities were getting more money.
