Shawty Redd Quits Music After Trashing New School Rappers

by HHL Editors

Producer Shawty Redd has helped to shape the trap sound through his work with Gucci Mane, Jeezy and other Southern spitters.

He's not going to be doing that anymore. Shawty jumped on social media last night and declared he was quitting the game because he doesn't want to work with the new generation.

Shawty's last big credits came in January when he produced Gucci Mane's 3 For Free EP. He also did a bunch of the tracks on Jeezy's 2016 album Trap or Die 3.

Do you buy that he's going to stop producing because the new school is ignorant?

Or do you think he'll be back behind the boards if Jeezy or Gucci gives him a call?
