Sexyy Red Comments On Fatal Shooting Near Video Shoot

Last night, a gunman opened fire on the same Broward County street where Sexyy Red was shooting a video.  

One man was killed, and another was hospitalized.

From the beginning, police said they weren't sure if the video shoot was being targeted or if the shooting was unrelated to what Red was doing.

Sexxy jumped on IG early this morning to explain that the shooting had nothing to do with her or her team.

“I send my condolences to the family of the man who lost his life and prayers up for the person who was wounded,” Red  typed. “But i gotta address the rumors that it happened at my video shoot bc sh*t is not true, at all. To be clear it happened at a gas station across the street from my video set. Florida Highway Patrol and Broward County Sheriff confirmed that the shooting wasn't on my set."

She added they were able to finish the shoot at another location.
