There has been a steady stream of reports that Scottie Pippen was furious at the Chicago Bulls documentary The Last Dance.
While Pippen was widely praised in the series, he was also portrayed by Michael Jordan and the filmmakers as a selfish player who didn't play hurt and didn't always have the team's best interest at heart.
Third Musketeer Horace Grant almost immediately dismissed the documentary as "90 percent BS", but Pippen stayed silent. Until now, when he denied he was offended by The Last Dance.
“Why would I be offended by anything that happened 30 years ago," he said in an interview with the AP. "I wasn’t upset about it. It didn’t bother me at all. It was an opportunity for our younger generation that hadn’t seen or knew anything about basketball in the ’90s.”
Pippen also said he's talked to Jordan since the series aired.
