Scarface is hanging up the mic for politics and it doesn't seem like he'll rap ever again.
The iconic lyricist announced that he was running for Houston City Council last week. And in a new interview he said his days as a musician are done. The reveal comes shortly after his Geto Boys partner Bushwick Bill died from pancreatic cancer on June 9th.
“For me it’s done,” said Scarface about his rap career. "I like the ideas of politics. This is gonna be my start in politics. I wanted to get my legs up under before I run for governor, before I run for mayor."
