There have always been rumors that Safaree Samuels helped his then-girlfriend Nicki Minaj with her music.
After the pair broke up, SB confirmed in radio interviews -- and also in the lyrics of the Meek Mill diss 'Lifeline' -- that he was Nicki's uncredited co-writer.
Now he's planing on taking that claim to court.
According to TMZ, SB is suing for a cut of all three of Nicki's solo albums, and for her hit singles like 'Only', 'Flawless' and 'Feeling Myself.'
He will present a "boatload of proof" that he was involved in Nicki's music, including video and voice evidence and multiple witnesses.
The lawsuit should be filed shortly.
Given Nicki's current fella Meek Mill's stance on ghostwriters, this is going to be awkward.
