RZA Wrote A New Good Humor Jingle Because the Old One Is Tainted With Racism

The ice cream truck jingle, which we've all heard on hundreds of summer days, is called "Turkey In The Straw."

The song's origins trace back to the early 1820s.  Around 1870, "Turkey In The Straw"  became associated with minstrel show in which actors in blackface used the melody to sing racist lyrics.

That in mind, Good Humor hired Wu-Tang producer RZA to create a new jingle.  Here it is.

Does that make you want to get a creamsicle?
