Maybe Oklahoma City really is cursed. The Thunder began last night's game with the Clippers with only nine men, and lost Russell Westbrook in the second quarter with a broken hand. On his way to the locker room the star point guard got into it with a Clippers fan and had to be restrained.
It's a hard to understand exactly what is being said between Westbrook and his heckler, and if anyone wants take a shot at transcription in the comment section go for it.
The N-word does seem like it was tossed around in the exchange, and that may have been what set Westbrook off. According to reports the fan was ejected from the Staples Center.
Westbrook suffered a small fracture of the second metacarpal of his right and, as of now, there is no timetable for his returrn. However, it is likely he will be joining Kevin Durant on the injured list for a while.
