Russell Simmons is the latest celebrity to be accused of sexual assault.
A model named Keri Claussen Khaligh told the Los Angeles Times that Simmons forced her to give him oral sex during a casting call in 1991. This was after he started making strong sexual advances and began pulling off her clothes. She was 17 at the time.
The movie's producer Brett Ratner — who’s also being accused of sexual assault by several other women — was supposedly in the room when all of this happened but didn’t intervene.
“I looked over at Brett and said ‘help me,’ and I'll never forget the look on his face,” said Khaligh. “In that moment, the realization fell on me that they were in it together.”
Afterward, Khaligh said she felt “disgusting,” so she decided to take a shower. That’s when she claimed Simmons followed, got behind her and penetrated her until she pulled away and left.
Ratner told the Times that he didn’t see the model reject Simmons in any way that day. Simmons acknowledged things got sexual but said whatever they did was consensual. You can see the Hip Hop mogul's statement below.
In more bad news for Simmons, he is also now linked to another sexual assault. Earlier this month, Terry Crews accused Hollywood agent Adam Venit of sticking his tongue out at him in a sexual way and then straight up grabbing him by the balls.
"I have never felt more emasculated, more objectified, I was horrified," the NFL player turned actor explained. “I will not be shamed. I did nothing wrong. It was foul to the core, and it still shocks me."
However, Simmons tried to get Crews to drop his case against Venit, as Crews proved by providing the receipts.
