Russ explained why Yung Bans apologized to him, then had a dramatic change of heart.
"We did talk on the phone," said Russ. "That's a little 18 year old kid. I talk to Bans and he said 'All that shit is lame. All that shit is wack. I'm deading that shit.' I was like look, 'You can't do all that shit publicly, then privately apologized. You gotta publicly apologize.' So that's when he went on Twitter and said what he said. He acknowledged it. I was like 'Cool. We're done. Squashed.'"
But Russ said the conversation didn't stop there. He explained that Bans called him after people started making fun of him for squashing the beef right footage surfaced of Russ' people beating up Smokepurpp.
"So the next day he Face Times me and says,'Bruh, they're killing me on the Internet. Can you come out and say something?' I was like 'Bruh, it ain't my spot to say something. At the end of the day, you started the trolling and the negativity, now you're getting it back. You gotta take that one on the chin' ... He was like 'Cool, I'm gonna say something then.' Two hours later he goes on the Internet and does that."
"That" is when Bans took it all back by claiming his manager had taken control of his social media.
“Y’all not gon believe what happened yesterday," wrote Bans. "My manager hacked me, changed my passwords and tweeted out saying its not fuck Russ anymore, 'cause he felt I should squash the beef. SMH. My true 1of1 fans know I aint scared of no nigga, so if it’s smoke @russ better come with it... FUCK RUSS 4L. I would never betray my fans. We stand on 10 and my niggas gon die bout dis. 1OF1 shit."
