Russ explained why he sent his people to beat up No Jumper's Adam22.
"We're talking real simple shit," he said on Real 92.3. "People talk shit and then got punches thrown at them. Big deal, bro. Motherfuckers running around acting like we getting people killed and shit ... Bro, you talked extensive shit on a consistent basis about someone you had never met in your life or talked to, and as a result they responded and [it] ended up punches got thrown your way. Big deal. I don't understand. When you push and shove someone consistently for a year, if you don't think there's going to be some sort of response, then I'm really confused on how you think this world operates."
For his part, Adam22 has mocked Russ's goons for their weak punches and for catching him at the nail salon.
Earlier in the interview, Russ talked about his crew beating up Smokepurpp, which made Tekashi 6ix9ine welcome him to Tr3yway Entertainment. Purpp had been talking smack online to Russ for a while, and the New Jersey rapper and his people caught Purpp at the Splash Festival in Germany. But Russ said all is good between them now, and everything is squashed.
"Me and Purpp got on the phone, though, the other day and squashed it," Russ explained. "If you're gonna initiate it and we're going to respond, I'm still down to get on the phone and be like, 'Bro, what's really the issue?'"
You can see Russ talk about Purpp below at the 5:58 mark and about Adam22 at 9:20.
