Rod Wave's trap soul stylings have been a big hit.
The 22-year olds sophomore album, 2020's Pray 4 Love. has gone platinum and his debut album Ghetto Gospel is heading in the direction.
He had been planning on making it three albums in less than three years with Hard Times, but that's on hold for a very specific reason.
Wave says his label, Alamo, isn't paying him.
"P*ssy a*s label playing wit a n*gga shit I ain’t shit f*ck ya pay me,” he typed, "Y'all wanna album ask @alamorecords."
We can only imagine the hell of a 360 deal young Wave is under. Perhaps his label charged him for that time he collapsed the stage.
