In July, Lil Tony, whose 83 Babies collective was signed to Rich The Kid's Rich Forever imprint, was convicted of killing 9-year-old Z’Yon Person.
The Durham rapper and gang member and two other Crips opened fire on an SUV thinking there were rival gang members in it.
Instead, it was a woman with five children in tow. In addition to killing Z'Yon they wounded an eight-year-old.
Forensics tied the bullet that killed Z'Yon to Tony's gun.
Today, Tony was supposed to be sentenced for his crime. Instead, he flipped out on the prosecutor and was dragged out of the courtroom.
"That (expletive) don’t know what the (expletive) she is talking about,” Tony, 27, said of the prosecutor.
As Tony screamed his mother told him to stop and his grandmother yelled that he didn't do it.
Tony, who was convicted of federal murder, gun, and racketeering charges, is facing up to two life sentences plus ten years when he is sentenced, possibly later today.
