We were all scratching our heads when we learned that 50 Cent is suing Rick Ross for $2 million because the Bawse took a crack at Fif's mega hit 'In Da Club' on his mixtape Renzel Remixes.

This seemed pretty petty -- even for Ross and Fif's extremely petty beef.

Fif's reasoning for going after his rival for doing what is typically done on a mixtape is that Ross was using the remix to specifically promote his retail album Black Market.

Our complaint alleges that Rick Ross has taken these without permission to advertise his own album, and violated 50 Cent’s rights in the process, and we believe he should be held liable," Fif lawyer Paul LiCalsi said.
Ross took the subliminal route in responding to the surprising suit.

Do you think 50 has a case against Ross?
