Rick Ross's scathing Birdman diss 'Idols Become Rivals' has been the talk of Hip Hop this week.
In a new interview with Revolt, The Bawse breaks down why he went after Baby so hard.
"That was basically me speaking my mind on that situation," the Boss explained. "Watching him come to the city, you know, embrace him. And then watch him do bad business with some of the homies from my city. Watch him be in red with some of my homies from my city. And that ain't the way it was designed to be. One of my good dudes, who we all know, wasn't supposed to suffer like that. And that's what put me in the location I was in."It's actually not entirely clear who Ross is talking about here. We think it's DJ Khaled. But Lil Wayne also has ties to Miami and Ross mentions how Birdman screwed them both in the track.
Ross also continued his assault of Baby and defense of Lil Wayne at a recent show.
