Do you remember that video of Rich Homie Quan smoking weed in front of his child in 2015? It caused a serious uproar and led to the rapper being investigated by Child Protective Services and the Fulton County Police Department.
But in an interview with VladTV, the Atlanta spitter said he really regrets that moment and now knows better.
"I just wanna let people know ... That's not the image I want people to see me as," he said. "That was just one of them moments, you know what I'm saying? I just want people to realize I'm still human, you know what I'm saying? And a lot of things are just mental mistakes ... Like at that time, I was 23, 24 — not saying age has nothing to do with it — but at the same time, I didn't ask to be put on this pedestal that society put me on, so if I make mistakes, just please forgive me and just realize it wasn't intentional. I wasn't doing it to hurt nobody."Quan also said he'd never smoke weed in front of his children again.
"I don't smoke around my kids anymore," he stated. "I don't think nobody should do that but you know, growing up man, where I growed up at, that was normal, and I know everybody who has something bad to say about it, come on man. [You] can't be a hypocrite. That's all I'm going to say. That was normal were I growed up."What do you think about Quan smoking in front of his child and his recent explanation?
