League sources have told Yahoo! sports that the relationship between Chris Paul and James Harden "can't be fixed."
“There’s no respect at all, on either side,” a source told Yahoo Sports. “They need to get away from one another. Chris doesn’t respect James’ standing in the league, and James doesn’t respect the work Chris has put in to this point.”
Reports of friction between Pual and Harden arose shortly after the Rockets were eliminated by a Durant-less Warriors in the playoffs.
According to Yahoo!, the Rockets have been actively shopping Paul. However his contract, which calls for him to earn $38.5 million, $41.3 million and $44.2 million the next three seasons, is "hard for other teams to swallow."
The Lakers -- and his banana boat buddy Lebron James -- would seem to be the perfect landing spot for Paul.
If not for Paul's contract and the Lakers lack of assets to offset it.
Where do you think Paul ends up?
