Right before Juice WRLD died after suffering a seizure at Chicago's Midway airport, the Feds and the local police -- acting on a tip from the pilot of Juice's private jet who saw a gun on the plane -- began searching Juice and entourage's luggage for drugs and guns.
They found 41 “vacuum-sealed” bags of marijuana, six bottles of prescription codeine cough syrup, two 9 mm pistols, a .40-caliber pistol, a high-capacity ammunition magazine, and metal-piercing bullets.
According to TMZ, that's at least the second time one of Juice's private planes has been searched. Customs agents and dogs at LAX airport in California thoroughly went through Juice and his team's luggage before they boarded a private jet to Australia on November 18. They must have not found anything, because they allowed Juice to make the international flight. Although it's possible -- as TMZ speculates -- they were gathering evidence for a later bust.
Either way, it sounds like putting all those drugs on a private plane was a really bad idea, given what they had already experienced.
There is widespread speculation that Juice ended up ODing in Chicago because he swallowed his pills rather than have them found by the authorities.
