Report: Alpo Martinez Shot To Death In Harlem

Alberto "Alpo" Martinez, who Cam'ron immortalized as Rico in Paid In Full, got 35 years in 1991 after striking a deal on 14 counts of murder, including the slaying of his former friend Rich Porter.

While he was released and placed in witness protection in 2015, he had been roaming Harlem out in the open for several years.

The word in the street is that has caught up for him.

The Daily News is reporting a 55-year old man was shot to death early this morning on W. 147th St. near Frederick Douglass Blvd in Harlem.  The man was in a Dodge Ram, was struck with five bullets, and died on his way to the hospital.

The man is rumored to be Alpo, although he hasn't been named in the press.
