Paper Mag said they were trying to break the Internet last week with their nude Kim Kardashian cover photo. Instead they ended up lining Ray J's pockets.
Brandy's brother has been making about 360K a year of off royalties from the 2007 sex tape Kim K Superstar, which did in fact vault Kardashian toward the A-list. However, thanks to increased interest in KK's forbidden parts last week, Ray J ended up netting about 50 grand in just the past seven days, according to sources at Vivid Entertainment.
Vivid also confirmed that the recent spike in sales has made Kim K Superstar their best selling title of all-time, surpassing the Pam Anderson/Tommy Lee romp that basically invented the celebrity sex tape genre.
So yeah, Ray J can live -- and live well -- of the royalties from a sex tape he shot with a then-unknown starlet in 2003. Life isn't fair.
