Bugzie The Don, a Virginia rapper, took part in the notorious January 6th Capitol riots.
In fact, Bugzie smoked a blunt on top of a SWAT Truck as the Capitol was stormed
He was so into that image that he used it as an album cover.
Sadly for Bugzie, the Feds saw the album cover and charged him with entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds; disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds; parading, demonstrating, or picketing in a capitol building; and disorderly conduct in a Capitol building.
Facing indisputable photo evidence, last fall Bugzie pleaded guilty to four counts, including entering a restricted building and illegally protesting in a Capitol building.
Because he was on probation when he joined the insurrection, the Justice Department wanted to give him 21 months, which would be one of the longer sentences given to a Jan 6 offender
However, the judge bought Bugzie's argument that he was just going with the crowd and never clashed with the police and took some mercy on him
So instead of 21 months, he'll be doing five months of federal time.
