Rapper Tech 9 Was Facing Child Porn Charges Before He Died

Last week, we reported on the death of Philly battle rapper Tech 9. 

Tech was pronounced dead at Holy Redeemer Hospital in Meadowbrook on March 24th. They have yet to determine a cause of death.

We know have information that may be relevant to his death.

According to court documents, Tech was due in court on March 25th on charges of possession of child pornography, indecent assault, indecent exposure and corruption of minors, in addition to other offenses. 

According to Philly Mag, an affidavit of probable cause was filed in the case.

The complainant is the daughter of a woman who was dating Mickens. The girl told investigators that Mickens repeatedly demanded that she take her clothes off in front of him and that he would then masturbate in front of her. On one occasion, she alleged, Mickens forced his way into her bedroom with a knife and tried to get her to touch his penis.
